Come to South Beach to eat cookies with Connie and Pam at the Amstel Light Burger Bash presented by Allen Brothers hosted by Rachael Ray on Thursday February 25, 2009

“It’s the coolest night in hot South Beach when some of the country’s best burger makers get together to show off their unique interpretations. Set on the white-sand beach of The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach, this annual competition takes the humble patty – beef, of course, plus a few non-traditional entries sure to please – and elevates it to an art form. What savory bliss lies between the buns is yours to discover. As you munch, and in between sips of perfectly chilled Amstel Light, vote for your favorite. Hostess Rachael Ray will announce the winner and bestow bragging rights for the next year. Then end the night with the number one chocolate chip cookie in the world and other assorted to-die-for desserts from Levain Bakery and a cold, comforting confection from Jeni’s Ice Creams, artisanal goodness borne from the freshest ingredients.”

Come see us next Saturday night for a cookie tasting with shots of milk and Kahlua at the Godiva Chocolatier SWEET sponsored by Absolut Vodka, Kahlua and Perrier-Jouët hosted by Duff Goldman!  We’re happy to be a part of fighting hunger through this great event.  We were very excited to be part of the first SWEET event last year.  It was amazing, so many great desserts and so many wonderful attendees who were so much fun to meet.  And, most important, it is wonderful that the festival here has so much support and is able to contribute to the Food Bank for New York City and Share Our Strength to help curb hunger.  Check out the website and buy your tickets now!

I had watched the throwdown with Bobby. I wished I was there to try a cookie. Triathalons? Do you get to the Timberman here in Gilford NH in August? I’ll trade a massage for some of the cookies. Keith has our massage school work on the athletes at all his races. Being an Alexander Instr. I have to say that SweetBriar College is very beautiful too. We have a workshop there each summer. I’ll be looking for the cookies in NH, sorry don’t get to NYC. However we could always use a good bakery up here. Good Job in the throwdown. rc
